Jerome Horowitz

Jerome was born in New York City, and attended The College of the City of New York and St. John's University, School of Law where he received his LL.B degree. He served in the United States Army during World War II, and joined the Church in 1945 after meeting a fellow service man. His book, "The Elders of Israel and the Constitution" was written in an attempt to awaken the Saints to their duty, and was recommended in a General Conference address by Ezra Taft Benson in 1972 in a talk entitled Civic Standards for the Faithful Saints.
