H. Verlan Andersen (1914-1992)

Born in Logan, Utah, Elder Andersen served a mission in the North Central States, received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, a law degree from Stanford University, and a Master of Law degree from Harvard University . He was a professor at the Business College at Brigham Young University.  Upon retirement, Andersen and his wife, Shirley, served a mission in Argentina and Peru .  He was called to the Quorum of the Seventy in 1986 and released in 1991.
